Using Pagdandi
Pagdandi is a free walking companion for fun and motivation. Treks, landmarks, groups and challenges are virtual: walking in Pagdandi doesn't mean you are on the real trail, and nothing in the app is navigation, route-finding or safety information. You may use Pagdandi for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Groups, challenges and cheers
Be kind to the people you walk with. Don't use group or challenge names, display names or invite codes to harass, spam or impersonate anyone. Step counts are self-reported by your devices and can't be verified, so challenges are for fun: there are no prizes, and we may remove obviously wrong numbers. Group owners and challenge creators can remove members.
What group-mates and challenge participants can see is described in our privacy policy.
Our content
The artwork, companions, writing, design and code in Pagdandi belong to us. Trail routes use map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence. Landmark facts are given in good faith and may contain mistakes — tell us and we'll fix them. Postcards you share are yours to share for personal use.
Liability
Pagdandi is provided "as is", free of charge. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, for injury arising from physical activity, or for loss of data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to ₹1,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
